I am a blueprint

 Woke up a few days ago to news of African refugees been shot and killed to stop them from entering into a European country. This news is not even being talked about much by many English broadcast networks and due to the amount of news been put online daily, has been overshadowed by irrelevant topics. These are humans trying to escape war in their countries, same as refugees from Ukraine, but because of their continent, are not even regarded as human. 

I have never been into politics, i don't even care for the politics in my home country, but i am concerned about the state of the world. While it is refreshing to see that a lot of people are starting to remove the 'wool over their eyes' as to how the world is being run by a very few entitled humans, it is super painful to see what having darker skin can get you, something that is not even a personal fault.

I chatted with a few friends from the US, Australia and Japan about this topic. The indifference was palpable. It's not a "Black Lives Matter" issue, anymore. It's now an "Dark skinned people, open your eyes" kinda world we live in. We are the blue print for everything and yet we are not even considered human enough to be granted a space on international news networks. 

I still believe the world will get better in years to come, however, for now, I pray that we stay safe, stay educated and be "less forgiving" to the world that has let us down. We have earned the right to be a little bit selfish.
